Lowell S. Kabnick, MD, FACS, FAC Ph, joined the NYU faculty in 2007 as an associate professor and as the director of the NYU Vein Center where he devotes his practice entirely to venous disease. He is the founder and was the director of the Vein Institute of New Jersey. In 2010, he was chosen to be the American College of Phlebology (ACP) Fellowship Program Director at NYU. Dr. Kabnick was the first vascular surgeon in the U.S. to perform the Closure (radiofrequency) procedure and the VenaCure (laser) procedure.
