Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, the largest dermatology practice in the country based in Maitland, Florida, named Steve Essayan as chief information officer Dec. 12.
Essayan joins Advanced Dermatology with more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of information technology, including operations, infrastructure, and applications development.
Most recently he held a similar post at U.S. HealthWorks, a multi-site workers’ compensation and urgent care provider. He led a team that supported the organization in more than 50 acquisitions of 100+ practices, from due-diligence through completed integration.
He received a B.S. in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix in Pasadena, California.
In addition, Patrick Roth was hired as senior purchasing manager, coming from the post of senior manager of Supply Chain & Transportation at Adventist Health System’s Florida Health Hospitals.
Roth has seven years of experience in supply chain management and healthcare business analytics, with a track record of lowering overall purchasing costs while supporting high quality care.
Before joining ADCS, he was at Adventist Health System’s Florida Hospital division, where he began his career working with physicians as he learned about the relative merits and costs of surgical supplies. This experience served him well when he was subsequently promoted to supply chain management roles of increasing responsibility at Florida Health hospitals in Apopka/Winter Garden, Celebration, and Orlando.
